Safety Policy
Last updated: September 17, 2026 · Version 2026-09-17.v1
Trust is the foundation of every connection made on GlowLoop. This Safety Policy explains the tools, practices, and people that protect our community — and what you can do if something goes wrong.
1. Our Commitment
GlowLoop is designed so that meeting new people feels safe from the first interaction. Safety is not a feature we added later; it shapes how profiles, discovery, messaging, and communities work.
2. Safety Tools
Blocking. Instantly prevent any user from seeing your profile or contacting you.
Reporting. Flag any profile, message, or circle in a few taps. Reports go directly to our moderation team.
Privacy controls. Choose who can see your profile, who can message you, and how your location is used for discovery.
Age requirement. You must be at least 13 — or the higher minimum age required in your country or region (16 in some locations) — to use GlowLoop. Members under 18 get protected teen accounts with extra privacy, messaging, and discovery limits. Suspected underage accounts become read-only immediately while a trained reviewer verifies age, and accounts below the minimum are suspended with an appeal option.
3. Moderation
All reports are reviewed by trained human moderators — not automated systems alone. We prioritize reports involving threats, harassment, or safety risks, and we act on every report within 24–48 hours. Moderation decisions follow our Community Guidelines, and repeat or severe violations lead to suspension or permanent removal.
4. Reporting Abuse
In the app: use the report option on any profile, message, or circle.
By email: write to support@glowloopnow.com with the subject line "Safety Report." Include any relevant details or screenshots. Reports are confidential.
Intimate images shared without consent: choose the "Non-consensual intimate image" option on any report, or email support@glowloopnow.com with the subject line "NCII Takedown." Valid reported material — including identical copies we are aware of — is removed within 48 hours, in line with the U.S. TAKE IT DOWN Act.
Emergencies: if you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (911 in the U.S.). For thoughts of self-harm or a mental-health crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, U.S.). GlowLoop is not a crisis or medical service. GlowLoop cooperates with law enforcement where legally required.
5. Meeting Safely
When you take an online connection offline, meet in a public place, tell someone you trust where you're going, and arrange your own transportation. Never share financial information, passwords, or verification codes with anyone you meet on GlowLoop.
6. Your Data in Safety Processes
When investigating reports, our moderation team accesses only the information necessary to review the concern, under strict internal access controls. Details are described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Account Deletion
You can leave GlowLoop at any time. Delete your account in the app (Settings → Account → Delete Account) or email support@glowloopnow.com from your registered email address. Deletion removes your profile and personal data within 30 days, subject to limited legal and safety retention described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Contact
Safety questions, concerns, or feedback: support@glowloopnow.com. We respond within 24–48 hours, Monday through Friday.
