1. Description of the Service

GlowLoop is a social discovery and connection platform. Our digital services include a free mobile application that helps users create profiles, discover people and communities, join interest-based circles, and exchange private messages. An optional paid subscription plan — GlowLoop Premium ($4.99/month) — unlocks additional features.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old — or the higher minimum age required in your country or region — to use GlowLoop. In certain locations, the minimum age may be 16. By creating an account, you represent that you meet the requirement that applies to you and that the information you provide is accurate.

You must provide an accurate date of birth and may not misrepresent your age. Users below the applicable minimum age may not create or use an account.

Members under 18 use a protected teen account: they cannot create Pages, Groups, or Events, cannot purchase, upgrade, or restart GlowLoop Premium, and may have additional privacy, messaging, visibility, content, and feature restrictions as described in our Privacy Policy.

We may temporarily limit an account — making it read-only — while we complete an age-verification review, and we may request age verification when an account is reported or reasonably flagged as possibly underage. Refusing or failing verification may result in continued limitations or suspension. Submitting fraudulent documents or attempting to bypass age controls may result in suspension. Every decision can be appealed through the process described in our Safety Policy and Privacy Policy.

GlowLoop Premium purchases and billing are limited to eligible adults (18+).

3. Your Account

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings or by contacting support@glowloopnow.com.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

GlowLoop's core features are free. GlowLoop Premium ($4.99/month) is an optional recurring subscription with extra features. Premium is available to members 18 and older only.

Subscriptions are purchased through our secure checkout, processed by Stripe, and require signing in to your GlowLoop account so eligibility can be confirmed before any payment is created.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the Manage Subscription page, which emails a secure link to your subscription email address. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are provided for unused time except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@glowloopnow.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review a refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use GlowLoop lawfully and respectfully. You must not harass, threaten, or harm other users; impersonate any person; post unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, or fraudulent content; scrape or reverse-engineer the Service; or use GlowLoop for commercial solicitation or spam. Our Community Guidelines describe these standards in detail and form part of these Terms.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on GlowLoop. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service.

You represent and warrant that you own, or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to, everything you upload — including photographs, videos, and any music or audio contained in them. GlowLoop does not supply licensed popular music for videos, and you must not upload content containing music you are not entitled to use.

You must never post intimate or sexual imagery of any person without that person's consent. Non-consensual intimate imagery is removed under the expedited process described in our Safety Policy, and accounts responsible may be suspended or terminated.

6a. Copyright and DMCA

GlowLoop respects intellectual property rights. If you believe content on GlowLoop infringes your copyright, send a takedown notice to our designated copyright contact at support@glowloopnow.com with the subject line "DMCA Takedown", including: identification of the copyrighted work, the location of the infringing material on GlowLoop, your contact information, a good-faith statement, and your physical or electronic signature.

We review valid notices promptly, remove or disable access to the reported material, and notify the uploader. If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.

GlowLoop maintains a repeat-infringer policy: accounts that repeatedly post infringing material are suspended or permanently terminated. Our designated agent is being registered with the U.S. Copyright Office at dmca.copyright.gov; until registration completes, support@glowloopnow.com serves as the takedown contact.

7. Intellectual Property

The GlowLoop name, logo, app, website, and all related designs and materials are the property of GlowLoop and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use them without our prior written permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that you will form any particular connection or relationship through GlowLoop, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline. Always exercise good judgment when interacting with people you meet online.

GlowLoop is a social connection service — it is not medical advice, therapy, counseling, emergency assistance, or a crisis service. Wellness-related content shared by members reflects personal experiences, not professional guidance. If you are in crisis or thinking about self-harm, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, U.S.) or dial 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GlowLoop will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using GlowLoop and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or our Safety Policy, or that create risk for other users.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated Terms on this page and, for material changes, notify you in advance through the app or by email. Continued use of GlowLoop after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
